Great idea but you need to know some safety first !!!!
The first time I did this I nearly caused a fire *grin*
Not being the efficient person I should be I dont empty the crumbs out of my toaster after every use!!!!
So when I put it on its side YES!!!! the crumbs caught fire !!!!!
So after putting out the fire!!!!! emptying the BURNT CRUMBS!!! opening all doors and windows and turning off the smoke alarm!!!! I tried it again SUPER !!!!
But I think it might have been safer and quicker to stick it under the grilller - well at least for me!!!!
