Carl was playing trumpet in the Royal Australian Navy band before losing a bet and auditioning for Australian Idol as a vocalist.
Making it to Idol's final 3, he then embarked on a successful solo career.

be removed. What's in your rider? I'm gluten Intolerant, so lot's of Corona's! They're gluten free!
